Brief:
Toolstation’s main target group is professional handymen. Toolstation asked Altavia Unite to develop a City Store concept to enhance their appeal to this customer group. They wanted a prime location that was attractive to passers-by as well as completely meeting target group needs.
Solution:
You have to stand out if you want to attract attention. That’s why we decided to use the current Toolstation branch corporate image as a foundation, but adapt it to make it even more visual for both consumers and casual passers-by. This included opportunities to order products online instore, literally take a break and then pick up ‘Click & Collect’ orders from the store.
Result:
Toolstation really liked the completed store concept and the new style is now being incorporated in newly opened branches. We focused on Rotterdam and Amsterdam: two prime locations that always have high customer numbers.
